The British Columbia Construction Association has opened its 2026 survey to gather insights from business owners about industry pressures and opportunities.
In Victoria, the British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA) is reaching out to business owners and employer representatives to gather critical insights through its newly launched 2026 BC Construction Industry Survey. This initiative provides a platform for stakeholders in the construction sector to express their views on the challenges they face, the opportunities they perceive, and the priorities they wish the BCCA to address moving forward. The association emphasizes that the responses will remain anonymous and will serve to inform not only government officials but also industry stakeholders and the general public about the pressing issues and opportunities shaping British Columbia's construction landscape. The survey is designed to be completed in approximately 15 to 20 minutes, making it a manageable commitment for busy professionals. In an effort to incentivize participation, respondents will have the option at the end of the survey to enter their name for a chance to win a complimentary one-year membership for their organization with their local Regional Construction Association. This could include associations such as the Northern Regional Construction Association (NRCA), the Saskatoon Industry and Commerce Association (SICA), the Vancouver Island Construction Association (VICA), or the Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA). Additionally, participants may also win a $300 gift card from Markβs for personal use.
This survey not only represents an opportunity for business owners to voice their concerns and suggestions but also plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the construction industry in British Columbia. The BCCA aims to use the data collected to highlight the key trends and challenges that are currently affecting the sector, thereby allowing for more effective advocacy and support from both governmental and industry bodies. The survey is now open and the BCCA encourages all relevant stakeholders to participate and make their voices heard in this important industry dialogue.
