Walker House, a new highrise tower in North Delta, B.C., has completed its concrete structure, moving into the next phases of development.

In Delta, British Columbia, the construction of Walker House has reached a significant milestone with the completion of its final concrete pour, marking the structural completion of the 29-storey high-rise tower. This development, located at the intersection of 20th Street and Scott Road, is poised to provide a range of residential options, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom concrete homes. With the structural phase now complete, the project will advance into the building envelope, interior work, and finishing stages, as noted in a recent project release. Walker House is designed to offer an impressive array of amenities that total 17,000 square feet. These include a rooftop deck, an outdoor basketball court, and a fitness facility. Additionally, residents will have access to a co-working lounge equipped with private booths, a communal work table, soft seating, and a private meeting room capable of accommodating up to ten individuals. The ground floor will feature an entertainment lounge, complete with a double-sided fireplace, television, kitchenette, and dining area for gatherings. The project team includes various contributors, with Penmat Contracting & Project Management Ltd. and BMG Real Estate leading the project direction. Concrete supply for the tower is being provided by Vancouver Ready Mix Inc. and Yard At A Time Concrete Ltd. The building envelope is the responsibility of Polycrete Restorations Ltd., while TEK Roofing Ltd. is tasked with roofing and waterproofing. Urban Sawing & Scanning Co. Ltd. is handling precision scanning, and site services are being managed by Dallas Watt Demo Ltd. The workforce for the project is coordinated through Manco HR Inc.
