New Residential Rental Community Amadeus Opens in Kamloops

Cedar Coast and Orion Construction have unveiled Amadeus, a new residential rental community in Kamloops, B.C., aimed at enhancing local housing options.

KAMLOOPS, B.C. — The recent opening of Amadeus, a purpose-built residential rental community, marks a significant milestone for Cedar Coast and Orion Construction. This new development is situated on the Tranquille Corridor of Kamloops’ North Shore and represents Cedar Coast's inaugural investment in residential development within the city.
The Amadeus building, which stands six stories tall, is located at 156 Tranquille Rd. and comprises a total of 98 residential rental homes. These units include a variety of options, featuring studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites tailored to meet diverse housing needs. Covering approximately 66,500 square feet, the facility also boasts a ground-floor commercial space that holds potential for future business ventures.
The amenities at Amadeus are designed to enhance the living experience for residents. The rooftop patio, complete with a firepit, is expected to become a popular gathering spot. Additionally, plans for an outdoor sauna and barbecue area are included, alongside a full-service fitness facility. Secure bike storage and individual storage lockers are also available on the residential floors, providing convenience and security for residents.
Jason Lee, the vice-president of development at Cedar Coast, expressed pride in the project, stating, "The vision for Amadeus was always to contribute to the continued growth and vibrancy of Kamloops’ North Shore while helping address the need for quality rental housing in the community." He emphasized the collaborative efforts that went into the project, highlighting partnerships with local architects, trades, real estate professionals, and property management teams to bring Amadeus to fruition.
