CCTA President Rex Meadley was present alongside UWSM Relationship Manager Laara Losier, as well as CCTA’s United Way Campaign Coordinators, Deb Fitzsimmons and Jeff Akitt. The funds raised will significantly benefit various programs and services that UWSM provides to the Simcoe Muskoka region, addressing critical needs in the community. The partnership reflects not only CCTA’s corporate social responsibility but also the active participation of its workforce in philanthropic efforts.
This event underscores the importance of corporate engagement in community welfare, fostering a culture of giving among employees, and enhancing the overall impact of local charities.

As this donation illustrates, community support is a shared responsibility, and CCTA’s actions serve as an encouraging example for other firms in the construction sector to consider similar philanthropic efforts.
The occasion not only marks a significant financial contribution but also reinforces the relationship between local businesses and charitable organizations, paving the way for future collaborations that can enhance community resilience and support.
In conclusion, the cheque presentation serves as a reminder of the positive impact that corporate initiatives can have when aligned with community needs, showcasing the potential for businesses to make a meaningful difference in their operational regions.
