Broccolini Breaks Ground on New Logistics Facility for Automann in Caledon

Broccolini has commenced construction on a new logistics facility for Automann in Caledon, Ontario, enhancing the region's logistics network and supporting Automann's growth.

On October 28, 2025, Broccolini officially broke ground on a new logistics facility for Automann in Caledon, Ontario. This project, developed and constructed by Broccolini, represents a significant milestone for both companies, which are family-owned, and lays the groundwork for a robust long-term partnership. The new facility will span 333,363 square feet on a 14-acre site and will become Automann's operational hub in the region.
Designed with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability, the facility will boast a clear height of 40 feet, along with 27 dock doors and 3 drive-in doors. Additionally, it will include electric vehicle charging stations for eight vehicles, reflecting a commitment to sustainable development. The design also allows for future rooftop solar installations and incorporates high-efficiency fixtures along with drought-tolerant landscaping to minimize water consumption.
Toni Wodzicki, Vice-President of Acquisitions and Investments at Broccolini, expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, "Broccolini is thrilled to be able to develop Automann’s new flagship facility that exemplifies a best-in-class logistics and warehousing project. The Mayor of Caledon, Annette Groves, congratulated both Automann and Broccolini on the groundbreaking, acknowledging the investment in the town and its potential as a prime business location due to its excellent transportation access and skilled labor pool.
