In Agassiz, British Columbia, Graham Infrastructure LP has been awarded a substantial contract valued at $33 million for the rehabilitation of the Agassiz-Rosedale Bridge, officially designated as Bridge No. 1287. This major infrastructure project, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Province of British Columbia, aims to address critical deterioration issues affecting the bridge's structural steel and concrete components.
The rehabilitation efforts will not only rectify existing damage but also enhance the bridge's drainage systems and extend its operational lifespan by an estimated 50 years, according to a recent announcement. The scope of the project is comprehensive and includes several key tasks: replacing deck expansion joints, rehabilitating various structural components, removing corrosion from affected areas, and recoating the bridge structure.
