As the Toronto municipal election draws near, eligible voters are reminded that the deadline to request mail-in ballots is Thursday, September 24, at 4:30 p.m. Voters wishing to cast their ballots by mail can do so by visiting the Toronto Elections webpage, emailing [email protected], or calling 311 for assistance.
For a voter’s name to appear on the official voters’ list utilized at polling stations on election day, any necessary updates to the list must be submitted by 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 11. Being included on the voters’ list prior to in-person voting is essential as it streamlines the voting process. After this deadline, eligible voters who possess valid identification will still have the opportunity to add their names to the voters’ list when they go to vote during advance voting days, which are scheduled from Tuesday, October 6, to Sunday, October 11, as well as on election day itself, occurring on Monday, October 26.

In preparation for the election, a Voter Information Card (VIC) will be mailed to all individuals listed on the voters’ list as of midnight on Sunday, September 20.
