SCARBOROUGH, ONT. — Construction teams have officially initiated piling and excavation activities for the second of three stations in the Scarborough Subway Extension project, situated at the intersection of Lawrence Avenue and McCowan Road. This significant undertaking is part of the broader effort to extend the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) Line 2 subway service by 7.8 kilometers, connecting Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road.
The entire Scarborough Subway Extension project is projected to require approximately 3,000 workers annually throughout its construction phase.
