WINNIPEG — The expansion of StandardAero’s maintenance facility in Winnipeg has reached completion, significantly bolstered by a provincial investment of $3 million. This development is poised to enhance Manitoba’s standing as a pivotal player in the aerospace sector. The newly added space encompasses approximately 70,000 square feet, which represents an increase of nearly 40 percent to the facility’s overall size. This expansion is expected to elevate the maintenance capacity of the facility, enabling it to accommodate work on the GE Aerospace CF34-3/8 and CFM International CFM56-7B engines. These engines are known for powering some of the most widely utilized commercial and military aircraft worldwide.
