Bridgit Strengthens AI Leadership with New Appointments and Launch of Ask Bridgit

Bridgit has appointed Carol Leaman as an Independent Director and Vincent Seguin as Chief Technology Officer to enhance its AI strategy, coinciding with the launch of Ask Bridgit, an AI-driven workforce intelligence tool for construction.

In a significant move to bolster its leadership in artificial intelligence within the construction sector, Bridgit announced on April 23, 2026, the appointment of Carol Leaman to its Board of Directors as an Independent Director and Vincent Seguin as its new Chief Technology Officer. These strategic appointments are set to accelerate Bridgit’s AI initiatives and further establish the company as a pivotal platform for workforce management in the construction industry.
The new additions come alongside the introduction of Ask Bridgit, an innovative AI-powered workforce intelligence tool designed to transform chaotic and isolated workforce data into actionable insights, rapid recommendations, and streamlined planning processes. This development is part of Bridgit’s ongoing mission to leverage construction workforce data as a strategic asset for companies operating globally in the construction field.
Mallorie Brodie, CEO and Co-Founder of Bridgit, emphasized the unique contributions both Leaman and Seguin bring to the company. "Carol and Vincent each provide a rare combination of profound technological acumen and a vision for how AI can enhance our strategy as the preferred workforce platform for construction," Brodie stated. She highlighted Leaman's extensive experience in scaling technology firms, including her previous role as CEO of Axonify, an AI-driven frontline enablement platform.
Leaman has a proven track record in the tech industry, having led Axonify to serve major clients such as Walmart and Kroger. Her accolades include the Sarah Kirke Award for Canada’s Leading Female Entrepreneur and recognition in the Waterloo Region Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. "The data moat that Bridgit is creating excites me,” Leaman remarked. “Bridgit has developed a platform that has become indispensable for leading construction firms in effectively planning and deploying their most critical resource: their workforce. The combination of substantial workforce data and AI opens up new insights that were previously unattainable. I am eager to collaborate with Mallorie and the board to navigate the company’s next growth phase."
Vincent Seguin, who previously served as Bridgit’s Vice President of Engineering, has been elevated to the role of CTO. His focus will be on harnessing the company’s unique workforce data to create tools that enhance decision-making for customers. Seguin has a solid background in engineering and scaling enterprise SaaS platforms, having held leadership positions in several tech companies prior to Bridgit. "As CTO, I aim to translate Bridgit’s exceptional workforce data into capabilities that will fundamentally alter our customers' decision-making processes," Seguin explained. He highlighted Ask Bridgit as a prime example of how accessible technology can deliver significant value to clients, asserting that AI is pivotal in enabling workforce intelligence to become a real competitive edge for construction firms.
For Bridgit’s clientele, these leadership changes signal an ongoing commitment to enhancing AI functionalities and advancing the product roadmap to address the construction industry’s practical challenges. Bridgit, which has established itself as a leader in construction workforce planning software, currently aids over a third of the ENR 400 and supports more than 332 customers managing upwards of 90,000 construction professionals on a daily basis. This latest development underscores Bridgit’s dedication to optimizing workforce management and improving project execution across the construction landscape.
