Englobe Corporation has officially revealed its plans to acquire Pluritec, a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm headquartered in Trois-Rivières, Québec. The agreement is currently pending customary closing conditions but marks a significant step in Englobe's growth strategy. This acquisition is timely, as infrastructure projects in Québec are increasingly requiring integrated and multidisciplinary approaches, according to a statement from the company.Pluritec is set to maintain its operations with the same team and the established client relationships that have contributed to its success since its founding in 1972. The firm employs around 200 individuals and operates from multiple locations, including Shawinigan, Victoriaville, Drummondville, Thetford Mines, and Québec City. With this acquisition, Englobe will expand its footprint to include 27 offices and a total workforce of 1,650 employees across Québec.
